I believe everything is connected. From the way that the plants fall on the ground and create a pattern for the winter, to the way geese fly in the sky, to the covid-19 virus, to the way that land has opened up to join in conversation with me in my walks. There are many messages if we can be still enough and open enough to truly listen/sense.
I have been receiving no messages of fear; only of being quiet, being still, listening, caring, communicating, and expanding home. I have had amazing connection to the land and water near me after I have opened up to it. The first response I got back very clearly was quite a surprise and then I relaxed more into it. The conversation has expanded and the "how" of communication has evolved. Stretching, expanding, breaking open has had to occur for me, while the land, water and wild world seems much more able to align quickly.
What messages have you been receiving when you are most quiet within, with no judgements or expectations of the messages you may receive? I would love to hear more from you.

Bee vision
We probably all know that bees have two compound eyes and also have three simple eyes on the top of their head. Bees eyes are hairy and can see ultraviolet light as well. These are awesome facts, but let's dig deeper into bee vision.
What do you think of as your home? Is it your house? Your neighborhood? Your town or city?
What if you allow yourself to look at the landscape around you as a bee colony does...what would you see? Where are the low places, the high places, the shaded places, the sunny places... what are the temperature differences, where is the water, is it still or flowing, where are the wild places, where are the loud places, where are the quiet places you can hear the wind and the beat of a bird's wing?

Don't jump too fast! It's not spring yet! While it is sooo hard to feel the brakes on a warm day in late February, remember your bees may need more than one day of warm weather to fully come out of torpor! In fact, two and even three days of consistently warm weather (at least above 50°F), may be needed. Let your bees be a little longer! And that goes for your yardens too! Your leaves and yard debris may be protecting overwintering pollinators, such as bumblebee queens. Give them three days of the same warm weather before you stir them up too much. I know it is hard to put the brakes on, but it is worth it!
Daydreaming and planting some seeds indoors to keep my itchy hands from stirring things up outside! I am sure more cold weather is just around the corner for us (in western Massachusetts anyway). I am not sure if any of you pay attention to @arthursacres, for those who do - peace, love and bees! 😁
